Words cannot express the feelings that we feel... When
this time rolls around, and it's been another year.
Another year since we've seen your face,
Another year without your amazing grace,
Another year of trying to cope,
Another year of undying hope;
Hope that this is all a bad dream,
And things truly aren't the way that they seem.
But then reality hits and we're left to face the facts...
That no matter how much we may want you to,
You're never coming back.
Your life was grand for the short time it was,
And your presence always shined through,
Just like it still does.
You're an everlasting memory of happiness and joy,
And I know your mom will always miss her loving little
boy.
You were just starting life when it was taken away,
And now your friends and family miss you every single day.
But, you're always in our hearts, and you're always in our
minds,
And no matter what the future holds, you'll never be left
behind.
So, Happy Birthday Cory!
You would have been twenty three...
